Description

The Scooter (up to 300cc) First Service includes:

Pre-service check
Test if bike starts and runs
Check wear & tear items
Check for damage and faults
Quote repair of damage, faults and wear & tear items

Engine
Change Oil
Replace Oil Filter
Check oil level and vehicle for oil leakage
Replace sump washer
Add Fuel Injection Treatment to Fuel Tank

Final Drive
– Chain
Clean, lube and Adjust Chain
Check chain condition
Check condition of drive sprockets
– Belt
Adjust Belt
Check wheel locknut torque
– Shaft Drive
Check shaft drive oil
Check wheel locknut torque

Brakes
Inspect condition of front brake pads
Inspect condition of rear brake pads
Inspect condition of front brake fluid
Inspect condition of rear brake fluid
Inspect condition of brake lines
Inspect brake reservoirs for leakage
Check front brake operation
Check rear brake operation

Electronic Functions
Check operation of front and rear switches
Check dash neutral light is operational
Check operation of switch block kill switch

Operation Controls
Check and adjust throttle freeplay
Lubricate throttle cables
Lubricate choke cable
Lubricate brake lever pivot shaft
Lubricate brake pedal pivot shaft
Lubricate sidestand pivot shaft

Cooling System
Check radiator coolant level and condition
Check overflow level and condition
Top up coolant as required

Tyres
Check condition of front
Check condition of rear tyre
Adjust front tyre pressure
Adjust rear tyre pressure

Test Ride
Check idle speed
Check for oil and coolant leaks after test ride
Check for unusual noises

Bike Presentation
Give bike quick wipe over and check over work
Ensure bike is presentable for release
