Description

The Road LAMS Annual Service includes:

Pre-service check
Test if bike starts and runs
Check wear & tear items
Check for damage and faults
Quote repair of damage, faults and wear & tear items

Engine
Change Oil
Replace Oil Filter
Check oil level and vehicle for oil leakage
Replace sump washer

Final drive
Final drive – Drive Chain
Clean, lube and adjust Chain
Check wheel locknut torque
Final drive – Belt Drive
Check condition of belt
Adjust belt tension
Final drive – Shaft Drive
Check shaft drive oil

Brakes
Inspect condition of front & rear brake pads
Inspect front & rear brake discs condition

Electronic Functions
Check operation of indicators
Check operation of low and high beam
Check operation of parker light
Check operation of horn
Check operation of front and rear switches
Check dash neutral light is operational
Check operation of switch block kill switch
Check operation of sidestand switch

Operation Controls
Check and adjust throttle freeplay
Check and adjust clutch freeplay
Check clutch fluid

Cooling System
Check radiator coolant level and condition

Tyres
Check condition of front & rear tyres
Adjust front & rear tyre pressures

Test Ride
Check idle speed
Check all dash functions are working correctly
Check operation of clutch
Check smoothness of changing gears
Check for oil and coolant leaks after test ride
Check for unusual noises
Clear service reminders and apply service sticker
