2027 Beta RX 250F EFI

The 2027 Beta RX 250F EFI is an all-new four-stroke motocross bike developed from the ground up for riders chasing sharp handling, strong traction and race-ready performance. With a purpose-built engine and chassis, the RX 250F expands Beta’s motocross range with a lightweight 250cc four-stroke designed to deliver progressive power, precise control and confidence across a wide range of track conditions.

At its core is a 249.3cc liquid-cooled four-stroke engine featuring DOHC architecture, a high 14.1:1 compression ratio and a lightweight internal design focused on mass centralisation. Beta has used thin-wall aluminium engine cases, magnesium alloy covers and high-performance internal components to reduce weight while maintaining strength and reliability at high RPM.

The RX 250F uses a dual-injection fuel system, with one injector positioned at the throttle body and another at the airbox sleeve. This setup helps provide crisp throttle response at lower revs while maintaining strong, usable power at the top end. Electric start, a five-speed gearbox and a shared oil system for the engine and transmission complete the compact race-focused package.

Electronics are a major highlight of the RX 250F, with features derived from Beta’s racing program. Riders can access five-level Launch Control, Quick Shift, two-level Traction Control and dual engine mapping for dry and wet conditions through a redesigned control panel integrated into the handlebar pad.

The chassis has been specifically designed around the new 250F engine. A molybdenum steel double-cradle frame with side-mounted head stays is engineered to improve torsional stiffness while maintaining vertical flex, helping balance cornering precision, traction and suspension performance.

Suspension is handled by a 48 mm KYB AOS closed-cartridge front fork and KYB 50 mm rear shock, both tuned specifically for the lighter and more responsive RX 250F platform. With 305 mm of front travel and 300 mm at the rear, the suspension offers strong support and control through rough sections, jumps and higher-speed track conditions.

Nissin braking components with Galfer wave discs provide powerful and predictable braking, with a 260 mm front disc and 240 mm rear disc.
