Happy Customer!
Just got my bike back from a new company here in OZ by the name of TrooperLu.
I really don't know where to start, my 08 TE450 was feeling rather sad and I gave it to Justin initially for a little tidy up and to install the Rekluse autoclutch.
Well Justin kept pulling her apart and it became apparant that whoever put my Husky together was nowhere near as passionate as he. So I basically told Justin to make me love my Husky again so away he went.
Firstly there's the suspension, I'm a novice but this weekend my bike felt as light as my bro's 250! (almost), Justin found flaws in some of the stock parts in the Forks and even went as far as jumping on the lathe and remaking parts to perform the way they should!
Then they threw in the Rekluse, fixed up my dodgy wiring and a bunch of other wierd stuff.
Also these fellas know how to ride and test the bikes they setup themselves each tinker, you don't get your bike back till' they return with that big smile on their face!
In short I'm stoked I found a mechanic thats a instills that much confidence, my Husky is in good hands!

I took it to several other mechanic's over the years, but none of them really had the expertise to fix it properly. My scooter just wasn't fun to ride, and I got it to have a bit of fun. I came across "Trooper Lu's" quite by accident, and intended by then to just get it running OK and sell it. What I found was other enthusiasts who "got it", that my old bike was a big deal to me, and I wanted it going as well as possible. I'd like to say that money is no object, but that isn't true, and Justin of "Trooper Lu's" would contact me whenever the agreed work had been done to keep me "up to speed" with both how the restoration was going, and what it had cost. Their work has always been top quality, and I was always asked if I was happy with what had been done.
Justin's extensive motorbike product and industry knowledge meant I was able to continue the bike restoration incorporating some of his suggestions. The end result? My 1974 Vespa "Sprint" not only looks great now, but is a reliable daily runner that's a load of fun to ride. I simply wouldn't go anywhere else. Why waste time with second best for your bike?”

“Having purchased a new bike and being totally new to the sport of dirt bike riding it was great to firstly meet Justin on my first weekend away with the boys to Mudgee. Firstly the tips and tricks of maintaining and riding and then getting my KTM in for its service and full suspension makeover to lower and adjust the bike specifically for me, to adding bark busters, radiator guards and fans along with better tyres and even a genuine KTM lower seat all available from the Trooper Lu’s Garage.
Even being a novice the improvement to the bike and my confidence in riding has been dramatic and the service and expertise offered by Justin and Trooper Lu’s is fantastic. I now have tool kits, a maintenance program and all the maintenance gear required for mine and my 2 sons dirt bikes to enjoy our weekend riding with all the spares on our now reliable bikes.
For us we will continue to have all our bikes maintained by Justin, he offers far better service than the dealerships where we purchased our bikes. I like the idea of using the best quality gear available right down to the oils and additives which seems to be the Trooper Lu way, and at the end of the day we have had great service, honest advice, and all at a reasonable price.
We would highly recommend Trooper Lu’s Garage to any dirt bike rider.”

“Bought a Yamaha WR250 2001 model for my son. What a bitch to start and keep running. The disappointment to my son was to be expected after he had forked out quite a bit towards the purchase. Spoke to a few people about problems associated with this model and then by word of mouth(which is usually the best way)got onto Trouper Lu’s Garage'
Justin and Mark were spot on. Timing was out, I had Justin replace the manual decomp cam with a hot 03 cam, Justin recommended a new adjustable fuel pump on the carbie and a better full exhaust to replace the pea shooter standard WR exhaust.
Now I cant keep the smile off my sons face, he is so happy with the bike just loves it. Thanks a million to Trouper Lu's Justin and mark.”

“I took my Triumph Rocket III to a few places to see if they could help me with the ride. It was too soft and very scary through the corners. It was pretty unsafe. I like the big cruiser for long trips but I also wanted it to handle. I was told I could not really do anything to the forks but put in some heavy oil.
I was referred to Justin and Trooper Lu’s Garage by word of mouth. Justin researched the forks, did some calculations and believed he could do it. They cut up the old fork insides and made a new set of internals. Adding Race Tech gold valves which we could tune to suit me meant it was now adjustable. They also added some Race Tech fork springs. Justin kept me appraised the whole time and I was always informed of what was happening. This bike is now transformed and the handling gremlins have gone. Well worth the effort and all at a really reasonable price.”

“Just a quick note to thank Justin and his team from Trooper Lu's Garage.
I am reasonably new to the sport of endurance riding and I must commend the team on their valuable advice and expertise. The customer service and attention to detail was something I have not experienced for a long time. The team always goes just that bit and above what you would expect.
On return of my Honda CRF 250 Justin went through every detail and explained what was carried out. I was also supplied with a detailed description of all work carried out for my reference.
During my initial service I had all my suspension adjusted/modified for my height, weight and riding ability. At first I was not sure how or if this would change anything. How wrong was I. Having my bike customised to me has changed my whole riding experience.
Thanks guys, Hope to see you soon.”

"Since I was 15 I wanted to get an older Vespa or Lambretta scooter restored. When I got my 1974 Vespa "Sprint" in Bali some years ago and brought it back home, I didn't realise how much would need to be done to "get it right" even when it was supposed to be fixed. Beware Asian scooters that have been supposedly "restored"!
I took it to several other mechanic's over the years, but none of them really had the expertise to fix it properly. My scooter just wasn't fun to ride, and I got it to have a bit of fun.
