Trooper Lu’s Garage offers servicing for all makes and model bikes. From carburettor balancing to jetting and adjustment of fuel mixtures. If we are unable to assist you with your particular model bike we will know who can and offer advice on the best way to go about keeping your bike on the road. Only top quality oils and lubricants are used during any service procedure.

Full suspension rebuilds and servicing is available for all bikes. Only quality oils and products are used and we have access to some of the finest suspension components on the market. Tuning and servicing your suspension is critical to any type of bike from scooters to dirt bikes. Suspension is often overlooked and should be individually tailored to riding style, ability and conditions of use. It is not as scary as it often sounds and there are often (not always!) cost effective ways to make improvements, ask us how.

We have a fully equipped suspension workshop catering for all brands and makes of suspension. Digital spring measuring equipment is available so we can acurrately measure your springs and scientifically determine the correct springs for your weight and riding style. We specialise in modern Dirt and Road bikes but can facilitate motorcycle suspension of all brands no matter how new or old. You can either drop your suspension in or we can remove it from your bike for you.

Dirtbikes are still a big recreational activity for us. We can service, modify, clean, prepare your dirtbike. A full suspension and tuning service is provided and we cater for all of your Dirt Bike and Motorcross needs. We do classic or Vintage Dirtbikes also. By this we mean basically any dirtbike before 1995 is a classic as these days unfortunately dirtbikes are almost a consumable item. There are many people out there that have a CR500, an old Husky or KTM that they want to keep. We can get the hard to find parts you need and offer full rebuild services for dirt bike riders. Trooper Lu’s offer a Dirt Bike servicing/cleaning option where we can clean, service and get your bike ready for the next big outing. This includes kids bikes and all mini bikes. Proper set up can make all the difference. From suspension settings, spring rates, static and rider sag, jetting and positioning of controls make a marked difference to you ride. Having restored numerous projects for some very tough customers over the years and being a bike collector myself, we know the work involved in getting your restoration project off the ground. We can do your bike in stages or the whole lot in one hit. Again we provide a one stop shop meaning you can drop your bike here and we will take care of the rest, from painting and chroming to registration. Vespa’s and Lambretta’s of all models as well as twist and go scooters can be fully serviced, repaired and maintained by us. We offer performance tuning of your scoot with great contacts overseas and abroad. We still ride scooters ourselves and often attend classic Italian bike shows on our scoots, so we do understand your scootering needs. Unfortunately in recent times there has been an influx in imported scooters from Vietnam claiming to be fully restored. Traditionally classics were the old British/Italian and American bikes of yesteryear. Whilst we love working on these to us there are many more modern classics that not many workshops cater for. Things like some early belt driven Ducati’s, mid eighties Laverda’s, iron head and shovel head Harley’s and many more exotic bikes. Many of the early Japanese stuff like katana’s and early GSX1100r’s etc are not really catered for. We will work on any of these and create the bikes our clients want. We will also work on any of the boutique brands and have excellent resources for parts, brands like; Gilera, Laverda, BMW, Guzzi, Moto Morini, Ural, Indians, Harley, Parilla, Norton, Triumph etc. Just because your brand is not listed does not mean we do not cater for it. Café Racers are also catered for. We can supply and install clip ons, custom exhausts, rear sets etc to make your very own café racer. We can do engine and suspension tuning to get that extra performance needed when scraping through some of the old roads.
